Math Challenge for New Year's Eve

I thought I would throw a little thinking into your New Year!

Polygon's Restaurant has square tables that seat one person on each side.To seat larger parties, two or more tables are pushed together. What is the least number of tables needed to seat a party of 19 people who want to sit together.

Sleeping Tips

If you are anything like many human beings, the lack of sleep during the year and especially during the holidays can be (pardon my childish humor) very tiring! I know we struggle with it in our house and I see it on the faces and in the actions of my coworkers daily.

Well, I might have something to help!

Gluten-free....is it fad or is it "for real? Personally, I haven't explored enough to draw a conclusion one way or the other. What I do know is that somehow we, as a nation and as families, have come to rely too heavily on fast foods, processed foods, and over-all unhealthy foods. Maybe it's time for a change. Although, it's one thing to decide individually to change your eating habits. how can you convince your kids to make some of those same healthy changes?

GOOGLE TOOL: Google "Done" Calendar

There are days I love to look at my calendar and see all the things I have accomplished. There are other days I want to look at my calendar and see there is nothing left on my agenda for the day. Using Google Calendar, I can create calendars for each of my clients, for my kids, for volunteer activities, and even for my "done" activities.

Food for Thought: Beyonce's Semi-New Song [VIDEO]

To start off my thoughts about "Change," here is a great (in my opinion) commentary about a relatively recent song by Beyonce. Wouldn't it be great if as a city, or a state, or a country, or world-wide we could change the demeaning perceptions people have about women? It's possible. It starts with awareness.


Here in central Ohio many things have changed....the weather, the leaves (or lack of), the number of days since OSU lost to Michigan, and this blog. Oh, change, let me call you crazy!
